ASCENT advises an Italian industrial group
The firm advised the Italian industrial group CUKI COFRESCO SpA, which acquired the technical assets of ECOPLA, a company located in Isère and liquidated in June 2016.
ASCENT intervened in the litigation phase of the case and then in negotiations with State representatives for the creation of the subsidiary of the Italian group, CUKI France France, which aims to relocate the production of aluminium and cardboard trays for the agri-food market in France.
Our firm worked with CUKI COFRESCO SpA, and in contact with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and BUSINESS France.
Inaugurated on November 16, 2017 in the presence of representatives of central and local authorities (the Prefect, BUSINESS France, Direccte, Grésivaudan joint local authority etc.) the CUKI’s French subsidiary aims to meet the requirements of the French market and then progressively those of Western European countries. This operation will create many jobs by 2019.
